Job summary

The incumbent will supervise staff, engage in population health and quality improvement initiatives, and collaborate with Extended PACT services to optimize clinical operations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, diagnoses and treats patients appropriate to Internal Medicine or Family Practice within clinical privileges.
• Acts as supervisor handling administrative tasks, human resources issues, and performance evaluations for supervisees.
• Engages in population health and quality improvement efforts related to care of Veterans within state law.
• Collaborates with the Patient Aligned Care Team triad and Extended PACT services to optimize clinical operations.
• Participates in strategic and operational planning, ensuring compliance with VHA, Facility and GMS policies.
