Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Rocky Mount seeks a Lead Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to drive innovation and manufacturing excellence in the EHSV cell. You will lead the floor team and partner with engineering to improve productivity and quality.

The on-site role requires a technical BA, 10+ years in advanced manufacturing, and Lean Six Sigma. You will mentor staff, implement best practices, and support rate readiness for new product introductions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field (STEM)
10+ years of proven experience in advanced manufacturing engineering with a focus on process optimization and innovation
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies
Expertise in implementing advanced manufacturing technologies and tools such as automation systems, CAD/CAM software, and manufacturing execution systems
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement frameworks
Willingness to lead people
Proficiency in time management and business level prioritization

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee advanced manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity
Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Ability to cover responsibilities at a site level if needed
Own process capability and control for critical EHSV features and related assembly processes
