Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple, Texas seeks a fellowship-trained, board-certified/board-eligible Advanced Heart Failure Transplant Cardiologist to join our expanding team.

The role involves inpatient and outpatient heart failure and transplant services, clinical education of fellows and residents, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team across BSWH Memorial Hospital in Temple.

Qualifications

• Must be UNOS qualified for care of cardiac transplant patients.
• Interest in education and research encouraged, but not essential.
• Provide coverage for transplant, inpatient and outpatient services.
• On-call 6–8 weeks per year in Temple location.
• Dedicated HF nurses and APP support weekly with plans for expansion.
• Opportunity to perform cath lab procedures and read ECHOs for VAD and heart transplant.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and outpatient heart failure and transplant consultations.
• ACGME education of Cardiology Fellows and Internal Medicine Residents.
• Rotate on the inpatient cardiac transplant service at BSWH Memorial Hospital in Temple.
