Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health seeks a fellowship‑trained, board certified/eligible Advanced Heart Failure Transplant Cardiologist for the Greater Austin Region. The role includes inpatient and outpatient heart failure and transplant services, LVAD/HTx program oversight, and clinic responsibilities in Lakeway and Round Rock hospitals.

The candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team to advance patient care, with potential involvement in education, and is based in Texas.

Qualifications

• Must be UNOS qualified for the care of patients with cardiac transplants.
• Education or research interest encouraged or pursued.
• Coverage for Transplant, inpatient and outpatient services.
• Predominant time assigned to Lakeway.
• Call schedule: Round Rock 1:4; Temple 6 weeks/year.
• HF nurses and APP support planned expansion.
• Ability to perform cath lab procedures and read ECHO for VAD/HTx.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient and outpatient heart failure and transplant consultations.
• Participate in LVAD/HTx program and clinic activities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across sites.
