Principal Wireless Network Engineer required for a programme of work within National Grid which aims to modernize and enhance the US network infrastructure to improve reliability, security, and user experience. Key initiatives include replacing end-of-life wireless hardware, deploying enhanced Wi Fi solutions, and provisioning high-speed internet connectivity services overlayed with SDWAN technology.
The programme will also progress alternative connectivity options such as satellite and 5G solutions for disaster recovery and rapid deployment, while supporting facility expansion projects.
Comprehensive wireless surveys and design work will be a significant part of this engagement, with ad-hoc travel required to the US national grid sites to conduct physical Wi Fi surveys with Ekahau and/or Hamina tools.
Mandatory Skills: CISCO Wireless Admin.Experience: 5-8 Years.The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
