Cencora, Inc. is seeking a Lead Administrator, Database Administration to manage the Oracle database landscape across SAP and non-SAP environments.

This role will act as the primary contact for Oracle issues and will lead capacity planning, performance tuning, and standards enforcement. You will collaborate with infrastructure teams, interface with Oracle for product support, and help shape an architectural vision for the company’s databases.

Formación

• BS degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• 7+ years of related experience in leading database architecture/design and implementation.
• Experience with Oracle RAC installation and support.

Apply today!# **Job Details****SUMMARY:** Under general direction of the designated Manager, individual will be responsible for operations, installation, and performance of the SAP and Non-SAP Oracle database landscapes. The Lead Administrator, Database Administration will serve as the primary point of contact within the organization for the Oracle database environment. In addition, the Lead Administrator, Database Administration will define and enforce standards related to Oracle database administration, proactively identifying opportunities to utilize the technology to solve technical and business problems. **RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Primary point of contact for all Oracle database issues.* Will work closely with infrastructure teams (servers, network, etc) to troubleshoot and resolve problems.* Actively manage the performance of the various Oracle databases, including capacity planning and tuning.* Coordinate with other team members to ensure software consistency across the Oracle landscape.* Will participate in the IT Change Management process and validate/approval all Oracle database related changes.* Keeps abreast of new developments and forecasts of future trends in the areas of database technology.* Works with internal and external customers to understand their requirements in order to form a forward-thinking architectural vision for the infrastructure of the Company.* Provide input on, and support new projects affecting the Oracle database landscape.* Engage and interface directly with Oracle as required for product support/questions.* Defines solutions by identifying requirements and writing functional specifications; consults with technical subject matter experts.* Advises on options, risks, costs versus benefits and impact on other business processes and system priorities; contributes to cost versus benefit measures.* Performs related duties as assigned.* Travel is estimated at 15%.**EXPERIENCE:*** Requires a BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.* Normally requires a minimum of seven (7) years directly related and progressively responsible experience in leading architecture design and implementation.* Must have experience with Oracle RAC installation and support.* Requires experience with implementation, operating, and performance management of Enterprise systems on Oracle Databases.* Experience with Oracle GoldenGate, Oracle Advanced Compression, Oracle Identity Management, and Oracle Enterprise Manager tools a plus.* Candidates should also have experience working with 3rd party ‘bolt-on’ applications including but not limited to Vendavo, StreamServe, and EDI.* Certification preferred.# ******What Cencora offers******We provide compensation, benefits, and resources that enable a highly inclusive culture and support our team members’ ability to live with purpose every day.
