Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Additive Manufacturing Engineer to mature AM processes from concept to production, acting as a technical authority across LPBF and other modalities. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline from an accredited university or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing or design engineering.

Responsibilities

• Technical Ownership: Lead the execution of additive products and process improvements. Own the lifecycle from build file development and post-processing to part qualification and documentation.
• Production Maturation: Advance MRL levels and lead the transition of qualified additive technologies into the Gas Power supply chain.
• Collaborative Problem Solving: Lead root cause analysis for additive hardware and processes; partner with plant manufacturing, supply chain, and service teams to industrialize additive workflows.
• Strategic DfAM Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert in Design for Additive Manufacturing, including topology optimization, lattice structures, and generative design.
• Process Excellence: Drive continuous improvement via Kaizen initiatives; standardize engineering processes to meet safety, quality, and cost objectives.
