Job summary

STI in Atlanta seeks an ADA Web Accessibility Specialist to lead accessibility testing across web and mobile apps, applying manual and automated tools to evaluate WCAG compliance and regulatory requirements.

You will create test plans, scripts, and playbooks, document defects, collaborate with analysts and clients, and train teams on ADA best practices. This is an 8-12 month contract with renewal potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, MIS, engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience as a QA/Quality Analyst.
• Hands-on with automated test tools and Jira/GitLab.
• Experience with ADA tools and standards (WCAG, JAWS, axe, ANDI).
• 5+ years in UAT within Agile projects.
• CPWA or WAS certification.
• Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing and audit activities using manual and automated accessibility tools.
• Test accessibility against WCAG and regulatory requirements.
• Create and manage test plans, test cases, scripts.
• Perform functional, end-to-end, and regression testing.
• Document defects and prioritize ADA-related issues.
• Collaborate with analysts and clients to clarify requirements.
• Act as SME for testing web and mobile accessibility.
• Provide training and ADA awareness in projects.
• Foster usability testing and accessibility research.
