Job summary

Groupe Kardol in the United States is seeking an ADA Tester to join the team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing accessibility testing with ADA, WCAG 2.1/2.2, and other accessibility standards across web and mobile applications.

You will perform manual and automated audits using Axe, Lighthouse, WAVE, and Accessibility Insights, document findings with clear steps, and collaborate with developers to implement remediation.

Qualifications

• Experience with ADA, WCAG 2.1/2.2 and accessibility standards.
• Ability to create test plans and test cases focused on accessibility.
• Experience using screen readers and accessibility evaluation tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform accessibility testing of web and mobile applications to ensure ADA and WCAG compliance.
• Use screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver), magnifiers, and keyboard navigation for evaluation.
• Conduct manual and automated audits with Axe, Lighthouse, WAVE, and Accessibility Insights.
• Document issues with reproduction steps, expected vs actual results, and WCAG criteria.
• Collaborate with developers and designers to provide remediation guidance.
• Participate in accessibility reviews during design, development, and testing.
• Stay updated on evolving accessibility laws and standards.
• Create test plans and test cases focused on accessibility requirements.
• Support UAT by involving users with disabilities to validate accessible experiences.
• Deliver reports and presentations on findings, risks, and timelines for remediation.
