Job summary

Paycom - ATS in New York City seeks Lead Actuary to direct pricing, underwriting, and profitability models across commercial insurance lines. You will drive ratemaking, reserve analyses, and assist large account pricing, while mentoring staff and ensuring regulatory and actuarial standards compliance.

Strong collaboration with underwriting, finance, and senior leadership is essential to optimize profitability and pricing accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• FCAS designation is required.
• 15+ years of professional actuarial experience.
• Proficient in Excel (VBA), SQL, R, Python; Power BI/Tableau preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and maintenance of pricing and underwriting models.
• Perform complex ratemaking, reserve analyses, and profitability studies.
• Support pricing for large accounts, excess and non-admitted business.
• Mentor staff and ensure compliance with actuarial standards.
