Healthcare Nursing Center in Chicago Ridge, IL seeks an Activity Director to lead our activity program and enhance resident well-being. You will oversee the Activity Department, design engaging activities, and coordinate with care teams to ensure a stimulating, safe environment for both short-term and long-term residents.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior activity department experience in a skilled nursing setting, and at least one year in a director/managerial role; NCCAP

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• NCCAP Certification preferred.
• One year of experience in a director or managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Implement and direct activity programs to meet physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of residents.
• Oversee all aspects of the Activity Department.
• Participate in resident care conferences.
• Develop new activity programs to keep up with trends and industry standards.
