Job summary

Catholic Charities of Baltimore, St. Ann Adult Day Service, is seeking a Lead Activity Assistant (GNA) to lead activity planning and execution for participants, while monitoring behavioral changes and addressing needs.

The role runs Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM, with a strong focus on engagement, safety, and compassionate care. The successful candidate will coordinate staff schedules, oversee activities, and assist with transportation and daily living tasks under nursing supervision.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience coordinating activities for the elderly.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or certified within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop monthly and daily activity schedules for staff.
• Plan and assist with outings and field trips.
• Administer activities to meet participants' needs and interests.
• Assist with transportation and accompany participants to vehicles.
