Venteon is seeking a Lead Accountant Strategy & Initiatives to drive critical accounting projects including potential acquisitions and strategic partnerships. The role requires a strong background in GAAP, cross-functional collaboration, and high-level analytical skills.

You will manage budgets, assess financial reporting, and influence decisions across finance and operations. The position is hybrid, full-time, with eligibility for salary bonuses and LTIP.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience with increasing responsibility.
• CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to research and analyze data across projects.
• Demonstrates ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsabilidades

• Lead evaluation of accounting impacts for projects including acquisitions, bidding, and development opportunities.
• Research and benchmark complex accounting matters such as revenue, leases, and joint ventures.
• Prepare technical accounting memos and resolve complex reporting issues.
• Coordinate with internal and external specialists on assigned projects.
• Develop updated processes and policies for special projects and strategic initiatives.
• Identify accounting risks and communicate timelines to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business leaders to analyze and model scenarios and trends.
• Manage multiple complex projects through the full lifecycle.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes.
