Job summary

Trinzic, the future independent company formed from KBR's Mission Technology Solutions spin-off, seeks a Lead Accountant to shape its accounting and financial reporting infrastructure as it goes public.

In this high-visibility role, you will support monthly and quarterly close processes, financial reporting, and corporate accounting while partnering with Finance, Tax, Internal Controls, and business leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years in accounting, with close process experience.
• Experience with U.S. GAAP and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Analyze results, explain variances, and report to management.
• Support SEC filings and external reporting.
• Collaborate with auditors and internal controls.
• Mentor junior accounting staff.
