Job summary

William & Mary is seeking an Assistant Director for Academic Resilience to lead Academic Wellbeing Empowerment Programs and the Answers-on-the-Go outreach initiative. You will supervise graduate assistants and collaborate with faculty, advisors, and campus partners to promote student persistence and success.

The role focuses on developing personalized student plans, coordinating resources, and using data to improve programs. A commitment to student belonging and wellbeing is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in higher education, counseling, social work, or related field, or equivalent.
• Experience with student development theories and advising.
• Ability to work with diverse partners with attention to detail and responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, implementation, and assessment of Academic Wellbeing Empowerment Programs.
• Meet with students to develop personalized success plans and connect them with resources.
• Monitor progress and perform proactive outreach to at-risk students.
• Collaborate with faculty, advisors, and campus partners to coordinate support.
• Maintain records and use student success technologies to track engagement.
• Evaluate programs and propose improvements.
