Job summary

SFBUE, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, seeks a Director of Academic Product Operations to lead the academic market segment, translating opportunities into scalable operating models and delivery workflows. You will coordinate with SFBU, faculty, and partners to ensure measurable execution and strong learner experience.

The role is exempt, full-time, hybrid, with in-person collaboration in Fremont, CA, reporting to the VP of Strategy & Operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in education, business, operations, technology, organizational leadership, or related field.
7+ years in program operations, academic operations, EdTech, or related field.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

Lead operational planning for the Academic market segment, including MBA and workforce training opportunities.
Refine and manage the operating model for SFBU/SFBUE Pro+ and related offerings.
Build repeatable workflows, KPIs, dashboards, reporting structures, and escalation processes.
Coordinate with leadership, faculty, and partners to track decisions and executive visibility.
Identify operational gaps and implement scalable improvements across people, process, systems.
Support future market expansion with scalable operating infrastructure.
