Job summary

YMCA of Metro Atlanta is looking for qualified candidates to carry out daily program responsibilities associated with the Cowart Family Ashford Dunwoody YMCA. This position includes promoting the smooth operation of the 21st CCLC site and developing appropriate lessons for youth.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience in working with Title1 schools. A Georgia Teaching Certificate is preferred, and the role requires excellent interpersonal skills, effective time management, and a commitment to customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and Georgia Teaching Certificate preferred.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• At least 2 years of experience working with Title1 schools preferred.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Obtain CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily program tasks related to the position's scope.
• Promote and ensure that 21st CCLC site runs smoothly.
• Timely collection and submission of data and reports.
• Maintain branch certifications in CPR and First Aid.
• Develop age-appropriate lessons and provide academic instruction.
