Job summary

Simplified Real Estate is seeking a Lead Abatement Supervisor to manage residential lead paint abatement projects from site prep through final clean and turnover. You will organize crews, materials, and priorities while ensuring containment, PPE, dust-control, and safety standards are repeatedly met.

You will inspect workmanship, enforce scope compliance, and take prompt corrective action in the field, maintaining documentation and clear turnover for subsequent steps.

Lead residential abatement projects with disciplined field execution, strong safety standards, and full ownership from setup through clearance.

If you are a hands-on field leader who believes safety, quality, and compliance have to be right every time, this role is built for you. You know how to review a job before work starts, organize the crew, verify containment and PPE, and keep execution moving without losing control of the details. You are comfortable making decisions in the field, correcting problems immediately, and holding others accountable to established standards. We are looking for someone who combines strong construction judgment with disciplined follow-through and takes ownership of each project from initial setup through final cleaning, documentation, and closeout.

THE ROLE

As our Lead Abatement Supervisor, you will oversee residential lead paint abatement projects from site preparation through final cleaning and closeout. You will organize crews, materials, equipment, work areas, and daily priorities while verifying that containment, signage, PPE, dust-control measures, and required protections are maintained throughout the project. You will monitor workmanship, productivity, safety, and scope compliance, perform regular field inspections, and take prompt corrective action when issues arise. This is a hands-on supervisory role for someone who can keep projects controlled, documented, safe, and moving toward required clearance and turnover.

ROLE HIGHLIGHTS

• Previous hands-on experience in lead paint abatement, residential renovation, construction, or a closely related field required
• Current Lead Abatement Supervisor license or certification required before starting the role
• Strong knowledge of lead-safe work practices, containment, dust control, PPE, cleanup, and job-site safety procedures
• Experience directing field crews, assigning work, monitoring quality, and maintaining accountability
• Strong general construction knowledge and familiarity with residential building materials, demolition, repair, and renovation preferred
• Ability to review project scopes and organize labor, materials, equipment, access, and sequencing
• Ability to identify unsafe conditions, quality concerns, or scope issues and take prompt corrective action
• Strong attention to safety, compliance, workmanship, documentation, and detail
• Ability to manage changing field conditions and multiple priorities while keeping projects moving
• Proficiency with computers and experience using ticketing systems, work-order management software, or similar tools preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and practical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound field decisions
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Ability to travel between assigned properties and safely perform physically demanding field work
