Job summary

Foust Construction and Development in Delaware is seeking an experienced Lead Abatement Supervisor to oversee lead abatement projects and field crews. You will ensure all work is conducted safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.

You will supervise daily operations, conduct site inspections, manage containment systems, monitor PPE usage, mentor workers, maintain schedules, and handle regulatory paperwork.

Qualifications

• Must have lead abatement experience and supervise crews.
• Current Lead Abatement Supervisor Certification required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.
• Ability to read project specifications and safety plans.
• Experience with containment setup, demolition, and hazardous material handling.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding environments.
• Valid driver’s license preferred; background check and drug screening as required.

Responsibilities

Lead Abatement Supervisor for Delaware

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Abatement Supervisor to oversee lead abatement projects and field crews. The ideal candidate will ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with OSHA, EPA, state, and local regulations. This position requires strong leadership skills, knowledge of lead remediation procedures, and the ability to manage job sites from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily lead abatement operations and crews

• Conduct job site inspections and enforce safety procedures
• Develop and maintain containment systems and work plans

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening if required

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing multiple job sites
• Previous lead abatement or construction experience preferred
• EPA Lead Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Construction or environmental remediation background
• Strong leadership qualities

Work Environment

• Indoor and outdoor construction and remediation environments
• Frequent standing, climbing, bending, and use of PPE
• Exposure to hazardous materials under controlled safety procedures
