Position Summary:
Anistar is seeking an experienced Lead Audio Visual Technician to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of audio visual cable and hardware.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Crimp, solder, wire pull, label, terminate, and perform other technical tasks associated with A/V systems.
• Assist with and perform installation tasks in a timely and quality-conscious manner.
• Troubleshoot and repair newly installed and existing custom AV and multimedia systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve control system programming issues.
• Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
• Assist with mechanical fabrication and basic rack wiring.
• Add digital signage endpoints on existing signage systems.
• Install display devices (projector/flat panel), screens, and check for basic functionality.
• Load and test control code.
• Configure basic control systems (e.g., Extron, Crestron, MediaLink, Extron Touchlink).
• Load, drop, write, and tweak DSP files.
• Accurately document field conditions at the end of each project.
• Make appropriate "red line" changes to system drawings as required.
• Maintain strong computer skills related to the Audio-Visual industry.
• Willingness and ability to travel and work at various job sites is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication with employees, customers, and colleagues.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
• Proficiency in PC troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
