Job summary

Total Aviation Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced Lead A&P Mechanic for an MRO at Gwinnett County Airport (LZU) in Atlanta, GA. You will lead maintenance projects, oversee repairs, and ensure compliance with safety and FAA regulations.

Ideal candidates have extensive turbine aircraft experience, including Citation airframes, and will supervise daily shop operations while coordinating with the Director of Maintenance. This on-site role offers growth into senior leadership.

Qualifications

FAA A&P license required.
12–15 years of experience in turbine aircraft maintenance.
Run-qualified on Citation airframe.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Own the necessary tools and pass FAA/DOT pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

Lead maintenance workflows and oversee inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on Citation aircraft.
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on other turbine aircraft as required.
Ensure aircraft are returned to service in accordance with FAA regulations and complete all necessary maintenance documentation.
Assist with aircraft troubleshooting, technical evaluations, repairs, and fueling operations.
Prepare, organize, and submit documentation to support the Return to Service process.
Work closely with the Director of Maintenance to maintain an organized shop environment and coordinate daily operations.
