StandardAero in Augusta, GA seeks a Lead Mechanic to supervise a Hawker maintenance crew, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and quality in line maintenance tasks.

The role requires an A&P license with 5+ years in aviation, leadership experience, and the ability to work in the United States without sponsorship. Relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed A&P Mechanic.
• Minimum 2 years of experience performing heavy maintenance on Hawker aircraft.
• Demonstrated leadership and/or supervisory experience in an MRO environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew to ensure high performance and safety.
• Monitor hours charged to jobs for cost control and approve technicians’ time.
• Appraise crew members and recommend salary/status changes.
• Pre-plan work scope and action plans for incoming jobs, including parts ordering.
• Deploy resources and assign tasks to crew members efficiently.
• Serve as a technical expert on assigned fleet types and perform hands-on maintenance.
