EPG is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to own the 800V power-stage architecture from concept to production for a high-voltage battery and power-electronics platform used in demanding data center backup-power applications.

This role requires 7+ years in power electronics, HV converter design, SiC/GaN device experience, and the ability to drive the power-electronics workstream with hands-on leadership.

Qualificações

• BS in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 7+ years of power electronics design experience.
• High-voltage (600V+) converter design from concept to production.
• Bidirectional converter experience (charger/inverter).
• SiC/GaN device experience with thermal and EMI design.

Responsabilidades

• Own the 800V power-stage architecture: topology, SiC/GaN device selection, and switching strategy at data center power levels.
• Design control loops for battery charging, bus-voltage regulation, and grid-interactive / UPS modes.
• Own the converter-to-battery-to-rack power interface.
• Drive compliance to relevant power and interconnection standards.
• Lead the power-electronics workstream as the technical anchor.
