EV.Careers is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer for a partner, a leading high-voltage battery and power-electronics company, to own the 800V power stage from architecture through production for a new data-center backup-power product.

You will design and lead the power-electronics work stream, select SiC/GaN devices, develop control loops for charging and bus regulation, and drive standards compliance in a fully onsite role in the Pacific Northwest.

Formación

• BS in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 7+ years of power electronics design experience.
• High-voltage (600V+) converter design from concept to production.
• Bidirectional converter experience (charger/inverter).
• SiC/GaN device experience with thermal and EMI design.
• Onsite in the Pacific Northwest; US work authorization only.

Responsabilidades

• Own the 800V power-stage architecture: topology, device selection, and switching strategy at data center power levels.
• Design control loops for battery charging, bus-voltage regulation, and grid-interactive / UPS modes.
• Own the converter-to-battery-to-rack power interface.
• Drive compliance to relevant power and interconnection standards.
• Lead the power-electronics work stream as the technical anchor.
