Job summary

EchoStar seeks a senior network engineer to design and lead 5G provider networks across the United States. You will craft scalable architectural frameworks, guide multi-VRF deployments, and ensure high availability in a carrier-grade environment.

You will drive automation using Python and Ansible, produce clear diagrams, and mentor teams to implement robust SRv6 and IPv6 configurations at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering required.
• 8+ years of professional experience in large enterprise or carrier environments.
• Experience with MPLS, segment routing, IPv6/SRv6, and multi-protocol environments.
• Strong automation skills using Python or Ansible.
• Data center fabric design and deployment expertise.
• CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or cloud certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead scalable architectural frameworks for 5G/service provider networks.
• Deploy nationwide LAN/WAN/RAN configurations with minimal service disruption.
• Standardize technical communication with diagrams to accelerate engineering cycles.
• Drive AI-driven predictive maintenance and optimization for network reliability.
