Job summary

Yazaki North America seeks a seasoned 3D CAD Supervisor to lead the CAD team in Canton, MI. You will guide CATIA/Teamcenter activities, oversee release processes, and drive Ford program deliverables.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in automotive design, strong communication, and the ability to mentor engineers in a fast-paced customer environment. This role focuses on CATIA V6/3DEXPERIENCE and CAD data management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in automotive engineering, design, or product development.
• 2+ years in product design/development activities.
• Experience with CATIA and Teamcenter.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide the 3D CAD engineering team to achieve objectives.
• Oversee CAD release activities and engineering change control.
• Manage 3D First Frame Release Process for Ford programs (~60 Notices/week).
• Host weekly team meetings and support Customer Change Control meetings.
• Develop and implement CATIA V6 / 3DEXPERIENCE initiatives for Yazaki North America.
