Job summary

Yazaki North America, Inc. in Canton, MI is seeking a 3D CAD Supervisor to lead the CATIA/Teamcenter driven CAD team on Ford programs. You will oversee 3D CAD releases, engineering change control, and build to meet customer requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in automotive engineering, strong leadership and communication, and experience with CATIA V6/3DEXPERIENCE. This on-site role offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in automotive engineering or product development.
• Experience with CATIA and PLM systems.
• Ability to lead and coach a CAD team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary resource for CATIA and Teamcenter training.
• Manage the 3D First Frame Release Process for Notices across Ford programs.
• Run the weekly Notice Tracker and ensure timely CAD deliverables.
• Lead weekly team meetings and support Customer Change Control meetings.
• Coordinate with Ford GES team in India on DPA issues and updates.
• Drive CATIA V6 / 3DEXPERIENCE initiatives and build-to-math processes.
