Job summary

ARAMARK is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to oversee daily custodial operations in a large industrial manufacturing facility. You will lead a unionized custodial team across multiple shifts, ensuring a clean, safe workplace and adherence to labor agreements.

You will manage work assignments, attendance, training, and performance, coordinate staffing, monitor equipment use, and drive continuous improvement while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in custodial, facilities, janitorial, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
• Experience working within a unionized workforce; familiarity with collective bargaining agreements preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills; knowledge of OSHA, workplace safety, and custodial best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; proficiency with reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of union custodial employees across multiple shifts.
• Manage daily cleaning operations, work assignments, attendance, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA requirements, and company policies.
• Conduct routine inspections to maintain cleanliness and facility appearance standards.
• Coordinate staffing, schedules, and workload distribution to meet operational needs.
• Maintain effective working relationships with union representatives and employees.
• Train, coach, and develop team members while promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper use of custodial equipment and supplies.
• Investigate and resolve employee, safety, and operational issues in a timely manner.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and customer service objectives.
