Job summary

HIROTEC Manufacturing America, located in Fayetteville, Tennessee, part of the HIROTEC Group, is seeking an Assembly Supervisor (2nd Shift) to lead production staff in an automotive manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and at least two years of supervisory experience, excellent communication, and strong leadership, with SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
Minimum two years of supervisor experience in automotive/manufacturing.
Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Responsible for and supports production staff in achieving goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating results.
Monitor equipment functionality and ensure poka yokes are working; report issues immediately.
Understand exhaust production processes to train operators and leaders.
Lead, train, mentor, and evaluate production staff.
Analyze staffing needs and ensure production schedules and budgets are met.
Develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve methods, equipment performance, maintenance, and product quality.
Manage production floor activities and ensure company procedures and policies are followed.
Promote high morale, teamwork, and a positive work environment.
Lead 5S, quality, safety, delivery, cost, Kaizen and lean manufacturing activities.
Other duties may be assigned based on objectives.
