Job description

Birch Tree Academy is a STEM-based preschool. We place an emphasis on academic development, discovery and exploration of science, building and everyday wonders.

Why work at Birch Tree?
  1. (Our #1 resource is our staff and our teachers know it.) Our teachers and staff are our most important asset and we take care of you accordingly. We give you the opportunities and support you need to be the best teacher you can be!
  2. Love to decorate your classroom? You have the freedom to establish your classroom layout, décor and daily schedule.
  3. Have ideas for amazing lessons? You can plan your curriculum (or use the provided materials for inspiration!)
  4. We give you all the management support you could hope for! Our directors have regular touch bases with all teachers to make sure they are properly supported and always developing. You also get planning time each week to make sure you’re ready to go.
  5. Looking to grow your career in the long term? We only promote to management from within the company so if you have designs on becoming a director, curriculum coordinator or running your own school, this is the place.
  6. Want to continue to learn about childhood development and education? So do we. We pay for your Early Childhood Education class and then give you a $250 bonus once you pass! How is that for inspiration?
  7. We have a fun, supportive work environment! We are allergic to gossip and drama, so leave it at the door. We hire happy people because that is who we all want to work with.
  8. We feed you all day!. We have our own chef that makes amazing meals all day for our kiddos and our teachers. And then we have the occasional taco party or lasagna cook-off for good measure. (Faint of heart need not apply!)
  9. Beautiful, new facilities that make it a pleasure to come to work.
  10. We pay better than any other preschool in the area!
