Job summary
Penns Grove-Carneys Point Regional School District seeks an Anticipated Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) who holds a New Jersey educational services certificate and understands CST processes and special education requirements. The LDTC will complete criminal history checks and meet citizenship or residency proofs as required by NJ statute.

Qualifications
- Requires valid New Jersey educational services certificate as per NJ statutes and regulations.
- Understands rules/regulations for Child Study Teams and special education assessments/programs.
- Criminal history check required; proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status; alternatives acceptable as approved by the Board.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a member of the basic Child Study Team, complying with state and federal statutes.
- Participates in evaluation, identification, classification and placement of pupils requiring special education services.
- Provides comprehensive educational evaluation services as a CST member and I&RS in assessment and planning of students needing special services.
- Reports academic findings at CST meetings.
- Assists with developing and implementing IEPs and coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating educational plans.
