Qualifications

• New Jersey LDT-C certification required.
• Minimum three years of successful teaching experience in an urban school setting.
• Strong knowledge of reading and mathematics interventions.
• Belief that all students can achieve at high levels.
• Strong work ethic, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and eligibility determinations for students with disabilities.
• Perform classroom observations and data analysis to inform instructional decisions.
• Prepare and submit evaluation reports within mandated timelines.
• Serve as case manager for assigned caseload and oversee IEP processes.
• Collaborate with Child Study Team, families, and service providers for student support.
• Lead and participate in meetings related to eligibility, placement, and reevaluation.
• Provide instructional consultation on accommodations and interventions and monitor progress.
