Job summary

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license at submission.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications.
• Experience in OB triage, L&D, and postpartum nursing.
• Strong maternal and fetal assessment skills.
• Ability to manage laboring patients in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum.
• Perform OB triage assessments and determine escalation of care.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor.
• Assess fetal heart rate patterns and uterine activity.
• Manage laboring patients within RN scope and facility protocols.
• Assist during vaginal deliveries and obstetric procedures.
• Prepare and support cesarean deliveries.
• Provide immediate postpartum nursing care.
• Educate patients and families on labor, postpartum, breastfeeding, newborn care, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and participate in handoffs.
