Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN with High Risk OB experience for a 13-week travel assignment in Portland, Oregon. Float capability to Postpartum and Antepartum units is required. Expect 3x12 shifts (days or nights), rotations on weekends, and on-call if needed.

Requires current OR RN license, BLS/NRP, and Epic EMR experience. Candidates should have at least 2 years L&D experience, a personal vehicle, and be willing to commit to major holidays.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required; Compact license must be in hand at submission.
• OR RN license required.
• BLS and NRP certifications required; AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• IV therapy, infusion pumps, EFM monitoring, and assisting with vaginal deliveries are required.

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery unit within a 418-bed facility.
• Facility performs 200-300 births per month.
• High Risk OB, Antepartum, and Postpartum patient populations.
• Patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:3 couplet care.
• Evening or Day shifts (3x12), with days or nights as primary schedule.
• On-call if shift is cancelled.
• Floats to other units and sister facilities as needed.
• Responsibilities include labor and delivery management, neonatal care, postpartum care, and newborn assessments.
