Overview

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital is a designated critical access hospital committed to providing quality health care services to residents in Crawford, Franklin, and Washington counties.

The hospital has enhanced and expanded its healthcare services, including a state-of-the-art emergency department, modern childbirth center, critical care unit, surgical suite, expanded cardiac rehab, and a cancer center. A 22,500 sq ft medical office building houses primary care and visiting specialists from St. Louis.

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital operates rural health clinics, a Therapy and Rehabilitation department, and an award-winning Wound Care Center with hyperbaric chambers.

The maternity department features six private suites, a centralized nurses' station, triage room, and family waiting area.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participates in activities promoting patient safety, quality, and compliance; engages in professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients/families.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers.
• This is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safety in work.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree in Nursing
