Insight Environmental in Dickinson, ND is hiring an Environmental Technician to support clients in meeting compliance standards through site inspections and monitoring with a focus on safety and integrity. Experience not required, but knowledge of 40 CFR Part 60 and LDAR is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher preferred.
• Knowledge of environmental compliance requirements is a plus.
• Experience reading P&IDs and troubleshooting instrumentation helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental compliance inspections at refineries using air monitoring equipment and data collectors.
• Supervise and perform environmental inspection, monitoring and testing.
• LDAR inspections using a flame ionization detector (FID).
• Manage environmental database (LeakDAS) and maintain LDAR component records.
• Generate maintenance work orders and submit periodic reports.
• Perform optical gas imaging inspections and participate in safety meetings.
