Job summary

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, in Roxana, IL, seeks an LDAR Technician to identify, document, and tag fugitive emissions from valves, pumps, and other components, using TVAs, OGI, and related equipment. You will help ensure EPA compliance while supporting industrial cleaning services at refineries and chemical plants.

Ideal candidates bring high school diploma, willingness to travel to site locations, and strong mechanical ability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• TWIC required or must obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Knowledge of DOT regs, EPA waste codes, and LDR (preferred).
• Confined space entry & 40 Hour OSHA Training (preferred).
• Knowledge of RCRA requirements (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health & safety in all tasks and follow safe work practices.
• Perform field inspections of components to detect VOC leaks.
• Operate and calibrate analyzers (FID) and monitor equipment.
• Record inspection data and tag leaking components.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to report leaks and verify repairs.
• Travel to remote sites and work in loud industrial environments.
