Program Summary
As part of the LOGCAP NORTHCOM scope, KBR provides rapid response support to scheduled and unscheduled U.S. Army training exercises. KBR’s LOGCAP team successfully completed another year of support to Warfighter operations by providing typical LOGCAP services at two locations.
Job Summary
KBR is seeking a Laundry Foreman for a temporary assignment located in Dona Ana, New Mexico. Projected assignment dates are September 15, 2026, through November 15, 2026 but could be subject to change. This position requires a commitment of approximately 70 hours per week and supports military dining facility operations in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- The Laundry Foreman is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of laundry services, ensuring efficient processing, quality control, and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day laundry operations and personnel.
- Provide direct oversight of subcontracted personnel to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, performance standards, safety policies, and quality expectations.
- Monitor production goals, workflow, and quality standards to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to laundry staff.
- Conduct inventory management and quality control inspections throughout the laundry process.
- Handle customer service issues, resolve complaints, and investigate claims as needed.
- Oversee the receipt, processing, tracking, and issuance of customer laundry.
- Coordinate laundry delivery schedules and support preventive maintenance activities for laundry equipment.
- Prepare and submit required reports and contractual documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and operational procedures.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in laundry operations, customer service, facility services, or a related field.
- Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Experience supervising employees and/or subcontractor personnel in a service, facilities, or operations environment.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation and obtain authorization for access to military installations, as required.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common business software applications.
- Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work extended hours as required to support operational requirements.
- Experience working in contingency, military, or government contract environments is preferred.
- A REAL ID is required for base access.
- Candidates without a REAL ID must possess a valid U.S. Passport to gain installation access.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience managing commercial, industrial, or military laundry operations.
- Experience working with government service contracts and overseeing subcontracted personnel in a performance-based work environment.
- Familiarity with military installation support services, contingency operations, or deployed/austere environments.
