Job summary

KBR Mission Technology Solutions seeks a dedicated Custodial Cleaner for an onsite, contingent assignment to support mission-critical environments. The role focuses on cleanliness, safety, and reliability across residential and commercial spaces.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of custodial experience, be able to operate cleaning equipment, and hold an Active Secret clearance with the possibility to obtain TS/SCI w/ Poly.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required; ability to obtain TS/SCI w/ Poly.
• 1+ years custodial experience in commercial or residential settings.
• Clear and effective communication with staff and guests.
• Ability to operate cleaning machines such as buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial and residential spaces to high standards.
• Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and trash removal.
• Maintain restrooms and common areas, ensure supplies are stocked.
• Follow safety protocols and proper disposal of chemical liquids.

Who YOU Are

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodial Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential and commercial spaces. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that all areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained, contributing to a positive atmosphere.

What You'll Do

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial settings, ensuring all areas are maintained to high standards.
• Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes and commercial properties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and emptying trash bins
• Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Conduct carpet cleaning and laundering of linens as needed.
• Ensure all areas are cleaned according to company standards, paying attention to detail in every task.
• Maintain a high level of customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any specific cleaning requests or concerns.
• Follow safety protocols while using cleaning supplies and equipment and have knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components.
• Assist in organizing cleaning schedules and managing time effectively to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning tasks.
• Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repair or maintenance needs to management.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms and common areas, ensuring supplies are stocked.
• Support industrial cleaning efforts by following safety protocols and using appropriate cleaning equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

• Must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI w/ Poly level clearance.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent (1)+ years' of experience in custodial work or equivalent positions
• Be able to clearly and effectively communicate with staff and guests
• Ability to operate cleaning machines such as buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, etc.

This is a contingent position based upon contract award and will be located OCONUS
