Job summary

KBR is seeking an Enterprise Facilities Operations & Maintenance Manager to lead facilities operations for a government client in Aurora, CO and Las Cruces, NM. The role requires managing maintenance teams, ensuring safety, and aligning with policy and procedure updates.

Qualified candidates will have TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, a high school diploma, 5+ years in facilities operations, and 3+ years in supervisory roles.

  • Minimum of three consecutive years supervisory experience in facilities operations.
  • Experience operating and maintaining power generation, chilled water, and large-scale facilities equipment.
  • Strong personnel management and communication skills.
  • Experience using project management concepts (schedule, scope, cost, risk, deliverables).
  • Familiarity with 24/7/365 operational environments.
  • Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal, leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage facilities operations and maintenance teams on site, ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance for critical and non-critical equipment to prevent mission interruptions.
  • Maintain critical spares inventory for mission essential equipment to avoid outages.
  • Interpret and implement maintenance policies and SOPs; coordinate with site engineering.
  • Notify GPOCs and Operations personnel about significant events and brief site management as needed.
  • Update maintenance SOPs annually in collaboration with site engineering.
  • Develop training plans for 24/7 personnel to respond to site anomalies.
  • Coordinate new construction projects with maintenance plans and testing requirements.

This is a contingent position based upon contract award.

KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Enterprise Facilities Operations & Maintenance Manager to join our team supporting a government client in Aurora, Colorado and Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage facilities operations and maintenance teams of the site by coordinating and managing the work including, but not limited to, critical and non-critical infrastructure maintenance and providing a safe work environment for all site personnel
  • Manage preventative maintenance work of all critical and non-critical equipment to prevent mission interruptions
  • Manage critical spares inventory for mission essential equipment to prevent unplanned outages
  • Interpret and implement maintenance policy and procedures
  • Notify designated GPOCs and/or Operations personnel on facility significant events; ability to compile summaries of events, critical actions accomplished, plans for completion remediation, and brief to site management in various forums
  • Update and rewrite maintenance SOPs annually with coordination and collaboration with site engineering
  • Manage training plans for 24/7 employees ensuring a well-trained workforce to respond to site anomalies
  • Integrate new construction projects into maintenance program, development of testing requirements and coordination of site acceptance review.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with polygraph
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of five (5) years of facilities operations experience
  • Minimum of three (3) consecutive years of supervisory experience in the field of facilities operations
  • Demonstrated experience operating and maintaining power generation, chilled water, and large-scale facilities equipment
  • Personnel management experience with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient knowledge and experience in the use of project management concepts to manage items including, but not limited to: project schedule, scope, cost, risk, and deliverables and related metrics
  • Familiarity and willingness to manage a 24/7/365 operational environment
  • Highly effective organizational, interpersonal, communication, and group leadership skills
  • Ability to reliably operate in a complex and changing environment, demonstrating solid independent judgment
Desired Qualifications
  • Seven (7) years of facilities operations experience
  • Four (4) consecutive years of facilities operations supervisory experience
Basic Compensation – CO area

$107,500 - $131,400

This range is for the CO area only.

Basic Compensation – NM area

$97,700 - $119,400

This range is for the NM area only.

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
