Job summary

HELP USA INC in New York seeks a dynamic LCSW to lead a shelter-based social work team providing domestic violence and mental health counseling. You will engage residents, model professional practice, and supervise LMSWs pursuing LCSW certification.

In addition, you may serve as a Client Care Coordinator, coordinating services for an assigned caseload while delivering group services and projects to promote stability and hope for families experiencing homelessness.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed LCSW and in good standing.
• Experience supervising LMSWs seeking LCSW certification.
• Experience providing DV and mental health counseling.
• Strong engagement and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of social workers in a shelter setting.
• Provide supervision for LMSWs working toward LCSW certification.
• Coordinate services for an assigned caseload as Client Care Coordinator when needed.
• Develop and lead groups and projects for residents experiencing homelessness.
