HELP USA INC in New York seeks a dynamic LCSW to lead a shelter-based social work team providing domestic violence and mental health counseling. You will engage residents, model professional practice, and supervise LMSWs pursuing LCSW certification.

In addition, you may serve as a Client Care Coordinator, coordinating services for an assigned caseload while delivering group services and projects to promote stability and hope for families experiencing homelessness.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed LCSW and in good standing.
• Experience supervising LMSWs seeking LCSW certification.
• Experience providing DV and mental health counseling.
• Strong engagement and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of social workers in a shelter setting.

We're looking for a dynamic, creative, flexible LCSW who is interested in working with residents in HELP USA's DHS-funded shelter. You'll lead a team of enthusiastic social workers who are assisting clients with domestic violence and mental health counseling, and creating various projects and groups. You're someone who has great engagement skills, leads by example, and will serve as a role model and provide supervision for our LMSWs who are seeking LCSW certification. As needed, you may also function as a Client Care Coordinator, including coordination of services for an assigned caseload of clients.Current registration as an LCSW.Compassion and respect for parents and children who are experiencing homelessness.Strong supervisory skills.Creativity and experience with group skills.
