Job summary

Northwest Missouri Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center (NMPRC) in Saint Joseph, MO, is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for a M-F day shift. The role focuses on casework, group work, and client advocacy within a forensic inpatient psychiatric setting.

You will perform social assessments, deliver individual and group therapy, and participate in treatment and discharge planning as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Missouri LCSW license required.
• LMSW or MSW candidates may pursue practicum placement with NMPRC.
• BSW candidates may be considered with tuition reimbursement options.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and periodic social assessments for clinical planning.
• Provide individual and group therapy and participate in treatment planning.
• Develop discharge plans and coordinate case management for patients with mental illness.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care.
• Support supervision for practicum students pursuing licensure.
