Job summary

K&I Healthcare Services, a Maryland-based behavioral health provider, seeks a School-Based Mental Health Clinician (LCSW-C/LCPC) for an in-person school assignment with AACPS. You will work with students, families, and school staff to deliver therapy and crisis support.

The role is 35 hours per week, fully onsite at an assigned AACPS school, following the school calendar, with fingerprinting and background checks required. Competitive compensation and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related behavioral health field required.
• Active Maryland license in good standing: LCSW-C or LCPC required.
• Experience with children and adolescents and crisis assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy to students in a school setting.
• Conduct crisis assessments, develop safety plans, and respond to safety concerns.
• Engage families and caregivers in treatment planning and progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and student support teams.
• Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation and service records.
• Escalate concerns to clinical leadership and maintain student confidentiality.
