Job summary

Alliance Wellness Solutions is seeking a licensed mental health therapist to provide school-based behavioral health services to middle and high school students in Baltimore County. All services will be delivered onsite at assigned schools during established school hours with no telehealth option.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in a behavioral health field and Maryland licensure, with experience in assessments, treatment planning, and therapy for adolescents and families.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant behavioral health field.
• Active Maryland licensure in LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC, LGMFT, or LCMFT.
• Experience completing behavioral health assessments, treatment plans, and discharge planning.
• Experience providing individual and group therapy.
• Ability to provide family therapy and coordinate with parents/guardians.
• Experience with adolescents, families or school populations.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and time-management.
• Ability to travel between assigned Baltimore County school locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to students and families.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
• Develop individualized, measurable treatment plans.
• Facilitate evidence-based therapy sessions addressing students’ emotional, behavioral, social, and academic needs.
• Conduct ongoing clinical assessments and monitor treatment progress.
• Complete progress notes and other required clinical documentation accurately and on time.
• Coordinate care with parents, guardians, school personnel, healthcare providers, and other community supports.
• Participate in school meetings and multidisciplinary care coordination when appropriate.
• Identify and respond appropriately to safety concerns and behavioral health crises.
• Complete discharge assessments, discharge summaries, aftercare planning, and referrals.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, professional ethics, school policies, and Alliance Wellness Solutions’ clinical standards.

Baltimore County Public Schools – Towson Area

Alliance Wellness Solutions is seeking a licensed mental health therapist to provide school-based behavioral health services to middle and high school students in Baltimore County. Assigned schools will be located within approximately five miles of Towson, Maryland.

This is a fully onsite position. All clinical services will be delivered at assigned school locations during established school hours. There is no telehealth option for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to students and their families.
• Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related behavioral health field.
• Active and unrestricted Maryland license in one of the following categories:
  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
  • Licensed Certified Social Worker–Clinical (LCSW-C)
  • Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC)
  • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
  • Licensed Graduate Marriage and Family Therapist (LGMFT)
  • Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT)
• Experience completing comprehensive behavioral health assessments, treatment plans, therapy documentation, and discharge planning.
• Experience providing individual and group therapy.
• Ability to provide family therapy and coordinate services with parents or guardians.
• Experience working with adolescents, families, or school-aged populations.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with school personnel and the Alliance Wellness Solutions clinical team.
• Ability to travel between assigned Baltimore County school locations.
• Ability to satisfy all required school-system background checks, fingerprinting, and clearance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience providing school-based mental health services.
• Experience working with middle school and high school students.
• Experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, behavioral concerns, family conflict, and adjustment difficulties.
• Familiarity with crisis assessment, mandated reporting, care coordination, and community referrals.
• Training in evidence-based approaches such as CBT, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, or solution-focused therapy.
