Job summary

New Day Health Systems in Catonsville, MD is seeking a passionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Certified (LCSW-C) to join our growing behavioral health team. You will deliver evidence-based therapy, perform psychosocial assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary group to coordinate holistic care.

Qualifications

• MD licensed: active LCSW-C licensure in Maryland (required).
• MSW from an accredited program.
• Experience in mental health, behavioral health, or substance use treatment settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy using evidence-based modalities (CBT/DBT/MI).
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation per regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic client care.
• Connect clients with community resources and provide case management support.
• Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development.

• Proficiency in evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, or motivational interviewing
• Strong clinical documentation and case management skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
