Job summary

Responsibilities include clinical supervision, coordinating skill-building activities, collaborating with the treatment team, monitoring progress, and participating in treatment planning and team meetings.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• At least 1 year direct work experience.
• Must be licensed or licensable as LCSW, LCPC, or Psychologist per MT regulations.
• Clinical understanding of youth with emotional challenges and learning differences.
• Ability to assess youth and families from a strengths-based perspective.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Provides clinical program supervision in accordance with Montana rules and policy.
• Coordinates skill-building activities for youth.
• Collaborates with supervisors, staff physicians, and other professionals to plan and coordinate treatment.

• Provides clinical program supervision – according to State of Montana administrative rules and corporate policy for the programs they are assigned.
• Coordinates skill-building activities.
• Collaborates with supervisors, directors, staff physicians, and other pertinent professionals to plan and coordinate treatment, drawing on experience and the needs and strengths of individual youths.
• Monitors, evaluates, and records progress of the person served with respect to treatment goals.
• Participates in treatment team meetings concerning the persons served.

Talents, Skills, And Abilities

• An advanced degree (MS, MA, PhD) in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• At least one (1) year direct work experience.
• Must be licensed or licensable as an LCSW, LCPC, or Psychologist, or any other such license as recognized and regulated in the State of Montana.
• A clinical understanding of youth who are emotionally challenged and have learning differences.
• An ability to assess youth and their families from a strength’s perspective.
• Ability to work with a variety of people using strong oral and written communication skills.
• Possible NHSC slot, continuing education credits, clinical supervision, and other licensure assistance available.
