Job summary

AWARE Belgrade, MT is seeking a LCPC/LCSW to join our full-time clinical team. The position offers a starting salary of $60,000 to $70,000 per year and includes comprehensive benefits.

Provide supervision, individual counseling, assessments, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support adults, children, and families in our community. A valid Montana driver’s license and a current LCPC or LCSW license are required.

Qualifications

  • MS/MA/PhD in Psychology or Social Work with 1 year direct experience and LCPC/LCSW license.
  • Valid Montana driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Must maintain LCPC/LCSW license as required by state boards.

Responsibilities

  • Provides clinical program supervision according to administrative rule and corporate policy for the programs assigned.
  • Counsel clients in one-to-one sessions to assist in dealing with mental health issues.
  • Interviews clients, reviews records, and confers with other professionals to evaluate mental conditions.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, directors, staff physicians, and other pertinent professionals to plan and coordinate treatment.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and record client progress with respect to treatment goals.
  • Refer clients and family members to community resources for services to meet treatment goals.
  • Provide needed clinical assistance to other staff and may provide consultation.
  • Spends time with consumer and family to assist in problem solving when issues arise.
  • Participates in treatment team meetings and reports observations to the Support Team.
  • Uses EMR systems and performs related data entry as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, evaluate, and record client progress with respect to treatment goals.
  • Refer clients - and if applicable - family members to community resources for services to assist in meeting treatment goals and recovery, following through to ensure service efficacy.
  • Provide any needed clinical assistance to other staff that may provide services to clients.
  • May provide consultation, evaluation, and treatment services.
  • Spends time with consumer and family as assigned and/or as identified on the treatment plan while assisting the family problem solve when issues arise.
  • Participates in treatment team meetings of consumers.
  • Reports behavioral and emotional observations of consumers and/or family members to Support Team and modify treatment plans according to changes in client status.
  • Utilizes H.E.L.P. (including therapeutic holds) when it is determined that a resident is a danger to self or others; also performs basic First Aid and/or CPR when needed.
  • Attends and participates in mandatory training, in-services, staff meetings, and Corporate Committees as assigned.
  • Must demonstrate - on a consistent basis - the willingness and ability to productively utilize work time in order to meet the needs of the individuals being served as directed, with the understanding that specific fiscal goals (billing, case load number maintenance, weekly) must be met on a monthly basis.
  • Develops a crisis plan with the caregiver that identifies a range of potential crisis situations with a range of corresponding responses including direct and telephonic response 24/7.
  • Utilizes and accurately records data using AWARE's Electronic Medical Records System as assigned, outlined, and trained.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Talents, skills, and abilities:

  • Psychology - Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders.
  • Therapy and Counseling - Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions, and for career counseling and guidance.
  • Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • An advanced degree (MS, MA, PhD) in Psychology, Social Work, or related field. Requires one (1) year direct work experience and a current LCPC or LCSW License. As a condition of continued employment, AWARE's Lead Clinical Program Supervisor must maintain the specific professional license and/or professional certification as required by state, federal governing boards, and other such certification boards.
  • Must have, or be willing to obtain, a valid Montana Driver's License. Must have an acceptable driving record, as well as an acceptable criminal and protective services background check.
