Job summary

AWARE in Corvallis, MT is seeking a LCPC/LCSW to join our team delivering high‑quality care to individuals, children, and families in the community. The role emphasizes compassionate, evidence‑based treatment and collaborative planning with a supportive supervisor structure.

We offer a full‑time position with competitive compensation of $60,000–$70,000 per year, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and licensure support in Montana.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related field.
• At least one year direct work experience.
• Licensed or licensable as LCSW, LCPC, or Psychologist in Montana.
• Clinical understanding of youth with emotional challenges and learning differences.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• NHSC slot, CE credits, clinical supervision, and licensure assistance may be available.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical program supervision – according to State of Montana administrative rules and corporate policy for the programs he/she is assigned.
• Coordinates skill-building activities.
• Collaborates with supervisors, directors, staff physicians, and other pertinent professionals to plan and coordinate treatment, drawing on experience and the needs and strengths of individual youths.
• Monitors, evaluates, and records progress of the person served with respect to treatment goals.
• Participates in treatment team meetings concerning the persons served.

Requirements

Talents, skills, and abilities:

• An advanced degree (MS, MA, PhD) in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• At least one (1) year direct work experience.
• Must be licensed or licensable as an LCSW, LCPC, or Psychologist, or any other such license as recognized and regulated in the State of Montana.
• A clinical understanding of youth who are emotionally challenged and have learning differences.
• An ability to assess youth and their families from a strength’s perspective.
• Ability to work with a variety of people using strong oral and written communication skills.
• Possible NHSC slot, continuing education credits, clinical supervision, and other licensure assistance available.
