Job summary

AWARE Inc. in Billings, MT is hiring a licensed LCPC/LCSW to join a full-time clinical team. The role includes supervision of clinical programs, coordination of youth-focused treatment, and collaboration with medical staff to tailor care plans.

Qualifications

  • Must be licensed or licensable as LCSW, LCPC, or Psychologist per Montana rules.
  • Clinical understanding of youth who are emotionally challenged and learning differences.
  • Ability to assess youth and families from a strengths perspective.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provides clinical program supervision according to Montana rules and policy.
  • Coordinates skill-building activities.
  • Collaborates with supervisors and professionals to plan and coordinate treatment based on youth needs.
  • Monitors, evaluates, and records progress toward treatment goals.
  • Participates in treatment team meetings.

Education

MS, MA, or PhD in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
Licensed or licensable as LCSW/LCPC/Psychologist (or MT recognized license)

LCPC/LCSW- $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year to start AWARE - Billings, MT - Full-Time

Responsibilities
  • Provides clinical program supervision – according to State of Montana administrative rules and corporate policy – for the programs he/she is assigned.
  • Coordinates skill-building activities.
  • Collaborates with supervisors, directors, staff physicians, and other pertinent professionals to plan and coordinate treatment, drawing on experience and the needs and strengths of individual youths.
  • Monitors, evaluates, and records progress of the person served with respect to treatment goals.
  • Participates in treatment team meetings concerning the persons served.
Requirements
Talents, skills, and abilities
  • An advanced degree (MS, MA, PhD) in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
  • At least one (1) year direct work experience.
  • Must be licensed or licensable as an LCSW, LCPC, or Psychologist, or any other such license as recognized and regulated in the State of Montana.
  • A clinical understanding of youth who are emotionally challenged and have learning differences.
  • An ability to assess youth and their families from a strengths perspective.
  • Ability to work with a variety of people using strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Possible NHSC slot, continuing education credits, clinical supervision, and other licensure assistance available.
